Weight Management Support

Our team consists of Chartered Clinical Psychologist Dr Vanessa Snowdon-Carr, who is a BUPA registered practitioner, Physical Therapist Karen Atkinson and Specialist Dietitian Vicky Krawec. Vicky is the only specialist dietitian associated with the National Centre for Eating Disorders in Somerset. We specialise in patients experiencing problems managing their weight.
Together we offer support, advice and the opportunity to explore issues surrounding the following:

• Binge eating
• Breaking free from yo-yo dieting
• Supporting diet plans
• Bulimia
• Anorexia
• Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome weight management difficulties
• Preparation for weight loss surgery

In addition Karen offers a weekly yoga class specifically designed for anyone with weight- related issues. This provides a wonderful opportunity to feel more connected with your body and develop coping strategies to support progress.
We also offer training, consultation and supervision for a range of professionals in health, social care and education.
